1. You start with a domain like PURE.ca
2. You use the domain pure.ca for your business website.
3. Make a subdomain and add the word shop to get shop.pure.ca
4. Launch the shopping site under the sub domain to maintain a professional look.
5. Use info@pure.ca as your business email address.
6. Use shop@pure.ca as the customer service address for your store.
Now you have two distinct (yet the same) business entities which allow you to sell the online store, or the business, separate from each other.
Creating that separation is a good way to allow for maximum profitability should you decide to sell some, or all, of your company.
