yeah I don't know who falls for that shit anymore. but apparently a new wannabe scammer is born every minute, and they'll try anything.

You guys will all be eating crow when my cheque for a million finally arrives. The guy assures me my dead uncle I never knew I had left me lots of money. All I had to do was give him $2000 to process the paperwork and he assures me the cheque is on the way.

These scammers are looking for the low hanging fruit.

No reasonable person would fall for these. These low effort scams are an intentional effort to find the idiots that would.
