Without a shadow of a doubt, if I had a spare 5 million hanging around I would buy this domain, hold and resell it for at least twice that.

The single biggest use for that domain is Los Angeles, the potential is astronomical.
Think selling email addresses alone

me@la.com - people would surely pay for that and you can run that on the back end of a successful site, similar to what Canada.com used to do. I had a me@canada.com email address for years.
