Every .com I've ever dropped got picked up.
About half of my dropped .ca's get picked up.

130 were picked in TBR or post-TBR
150 still left unregistered

So, close to 50%

All the time.

I have seen the same dropping a year or two later and worse still in once incident I caught the same domain in TBR.
