now how many dropped a domain and seen the sold parking page on dan.com 3 months later?
All the time.
I have seen the same dropping a year or two later and worse still in once incident I caught the same domain in TBR.

Sometimes it's an easy decision to drop, most often I have to think twice, thrice or four times. Sometimes I decide to drop a domain then end up renewing it last minute.
What do I look at to decide to drop?

- How many other extensions is it taken in
- Is the .com being used for something commercial or popular
- Could it reasonably still be used in Canada commercially
- Is it still a current term or is it now obsolete
