I have a pixel 3 xl and my screen is quite a bit wider than yours nafti, you can see that when you look at both of our screen shots.

I'm getting the Pixel 6 pro the second it comes out.

I upgrade every time a bigger screen comes out, it's all about the screen real estate. I am working more and more from a phone so screen size is important.

Heart shows great on my iPhone 11 *THUMBSUP*

Well size does matter!

You like bigger screens and you cannot lie!

I use iPhone XS which is a decent size. Have thought about the iPhone max on many occasions but worried about the size in my front pocket.

It may display better if you change "Location" to "HOR" or "From"; the joined date format from "M d, Y" to "m/d/y" (y as 2020 was the first year so /20 should be recognizable); and "Like This Post" to "Like Post".

It gives a bit more room to not take up 2 lines for the location (in most instances) and date when viewing on smaller resolutions.

But, it looks like it was fixed. I was confused for a minute as to why sometimes I could like something and others not, not realizing it was when I had a phone in my hand vs. when I was on the computer as I sometimes multitask side by side.

Great advice...

1. I removed the location field because it always took up 2 lines and it still displays in the members profile.

2. Only way to get date in 1 line was to short form it and remove the word joined. Don't need that anyways, it's pretty obvious.

3. Now says Like Post with a heart and Unlike if active.

Looks nice and clean, see below...

Thank you [notify]amplify[/notify] for all the suggestions for this *THUMBSUP*

I actually don't see it on mobile, but I can on desktop at even 200px width.

I'm on 360x800 on my phone though.

You have to clear your image cache, it's explained a few posts up. You do not need to clear your cookies or browsing history.

The file is stored in cache so it needs to be cleared to see the changes.

Just so everyone is aware

The mobile skin is now complete.

The following is intentional on desktop to keep the mobile skin looking perfect...

1. Only one size font is allowed in posts.
2. All posts are aligned left to right.
3. Pictures are automatically resized to column width.
4. Tables are not allowed.
5. Quotes can only go one deep and quotes that go deeper are automatically cleaned.
6. Only system fonts are allowed they cannot be changed.
7. Images cannot be added to signatures.
8. There are virtually no Graphics on the forum except in posts.

All this is intentional to make our board small, fluid, mobile friendly, and able to run even on the most minimal of internet connections.

A lot of internet forums are behemoths and completely bloated software. DN.ca is designed to be a very small footprint able to run on almost ANY server. If the site ever gets attacked it can be restored in minutes because the software footprint is so small.

Good job! But what does the above mean exactly?

It means if you quote a member and then I quote you it drops the quote from the first member.

You know how blogs will keep putting quotes in quotes in quotes etc.

So this way you never have to worry about editing out a previous quote from another member when you quote a current post.

Quote this post to see how it works and you will see your quote will be removed before I am quoted in your post.

PS. You will see both quoted when making the post but the system will clean it up for you when you submit the reply.
