I heard that a long time ago from a lawyer (who should know) and I would like you to post some examples of real porn (not bathing suit models or softcore nudes) being hosted on a .CA domain.

regardless of what some rando lawyer says, if that were true, it would certainly have to be in the CIRA terms of service somewhere.

Yeah, I think it has more to do with the Canadian government owning .CA and having to navigate Canadian laws to do with the display and ownership of said porn material, and the fact that many were shut down in the past and few (if any) operate today. Similar to gambling sites, which are heavily regulated and mostly offshore.

It was probably in the vein of "you'd have to be a total idiot to operate a porn site in Canada using a .CA", hence why no on buys or sells them.
