My First .CA Domain Name (1.Viewing)

I am excited to share that I have registered my first .CA domain name, Sarfraz.ca, after moving to Canada last month.

What was your first .CA domain name?

My very first .CA was HostingTalk.ca, followed by DomainTalk.ca

Welcome. I think my first .ca name was likely degap.ca, a business name I used back then. I registered it in 2002, so kinda late. My first domain over all, cyberteam .com was registered in 1995 though.

I used to manage a Mercedes-Benz franchise called Victoria Star Motors

One of the first domains I bought was VictoriaStar.com and a year later VictoriaStar.ca to forward to the .com

If I recollect correctly I sent it to legal to get VictoriaStar.ca because someone was sitting on it and we had the rights to the name.
I don't think it went to UDRP or anything but we got it for a nominal fee to protect our trademark.

Back then the .ca was barely used but we did see the importance of having it.
