My First .CA Domain Name (2.Viewing)

I used to manage a Mercedes-Benz franchise called Victoria Star Motors

One of the first domains I bought was VictoriaStar.com and a year later VictoriaStar.ca to forward to the .com

If I recollect correctly I sent it to legal to get VictoriaStar.ca because someone was sitting on it and we had the rights to the name.
I don't think it went to UDRP or anything but we got it for a nominal fee to protect our trademark.

Back then the .ca was barely used but we did see the importance of having it.

Good one. I think .CA registry gives priority for trademark owners to grab their brand name
