A while back I was contacted by the company above running under

mmca.associates using the email address info@mmca.associates

I quoted 2.5k for the domain and said it was a limited time offer.
I have since been contacted numerous times via broker, afternic etc and each time I quoted 5k because the initial offer of 2.5k had expired.

I received another offer last week and I requoted the 5k and I was politely turned down.
The offer was from a generic gmail address so I cannot say if it was the same people but I decided to visit the website and saw they are now using https://mmcaassociates.ca for the main website and info@mmcaassociates.ca for email.

The mmca.associates is also still functioning.

Again a company that failed to see the value in a direct match url for 2.5k
Even the 5k I am asking now is a bargain for a direct hit url.

That is a problem with a lot of these big companies. Some of the people at the top have no idea the value of a domain name.

I recall reading an article on the owner of VPN.com and why he paid a hefty 6 figure price for it. That guy knew the value and knew the extra added value and income it will bring towards his business.

I always like to explain in child like sentences for people who have no idea about domain names. I normally say that a great short domain name is equivalent to a store in a great location. A long hard to remember name is more equivalent to a store out in the boonies that nobody visits.

.....and no one can remember..

Is there a way to check the age/creation date of an email address?

So very true. It's kind of ironic how you got professional CPA companies like this one who don't seem to understand the value, and then you got companies like GTARestoration buying blackmold.ca just to secure a keyword.

I contacted a big company offering to sell guardian.ca. The word "guardian" is in their company name. The response offer was $200. LoL.

For a different one-word short .ca I got a high five-figure offer.
