Playboy first offered to buy the domain from him, making an anonymous approach. The domain owner asked for $10 million Chinese Yuan (about $1.3 million).

Lame argument as it's a generic word and I'd at least try that as a hail mary... but even though the term playboy has been around for centuries (both for 'boys who take part in the theater" (1700's) and "a person with money who is out to enjoy himself" (1800's)) money talks and money walks and the Ghost of Hugh makes for a powerful enemy.
