Well, I do have the real url bookmarked too... but that requires grabbing the mouse. I guess that's why I tried typing it in the other day instead - only to guess wrong. While its nifty, it would probably save me a whopping 2 seconds, once or twice a year.. And since I guessed wrong and am now replying to this message, well, it has cost more way more than that 2 secondsI was thinking of that but because it's an abbreviation I thought code make more sense.
I can easily add more than one, when I get back from holidays I will add it.
Pretty darn handy when you want to get there fast don't you think?

Thanks @Esdiel I will look into that.FYI: @richard.schreier
It's not a big deal but I recently learned this tool doesn't work unless all the letters are lowercase, including the extension.
For example, DOMAINS.ca, Domains.ca and domains.CA will all result in errors when trying to retrieve the auth code, and you must specifically type "domains.ca" for it to work.
I tried doing a few from my phone the other day and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working, and learned it was because my keyboard would automatically capitalize the first letter of the domain.

Thank you @rlm . It looks like we fixed it for our backorder search, but we missed the bulk backorders, I'll get that fixed.@FM I had that happen at WHC just this week, entering domains into the bulk TBR tool from my phone, and WHC isn't doing a case-insensitive match on domains, and therefore is ignoring orders for domains that had capitalization too. Very annoying, and part of the reason I didn't place any orders at WHC yesterday. I got frustrated using my phone, figured I'd do it later from my computer, but then never got around to it.
Ugh, yes, that is one of the most annoying things ever when your phone constantly tries to capitalize the first letter all the time. I think there might be a setting to disable that somewhere.
Yikes, that's horrible. My phone does one worse if I put a period behind the word in puts a space and capitalizes the next word so every time I type a domain it looks like this...
Domain. Ca
Then I have to go back and fix it
I never gave it this much thought but very interesting. Reminds me of how e-transfer passwords are all case-insensitive too. However, this should NEVER happen because any case matching issues are as rudimentary to programming as it gets. Its a result of either lazy, overworked, or just piss-poor programmers. I can't stress how ingrained using case-insensitive matching should be for every programmer, so to miss it is almost inexcusable. Yes, this sounds harsh, and it'll be brushed off as an innocent mistake, but seriously, this should be INGRAINED into any programmer's brain, this is like the equivalent of forgetting to breathe.
And its not just CIRA.

So are dn user names but not the passwordsI never gave it this much thought but very interesting. Reminds me of how e-transfer passwords are all case-insensitive too.
I had already turned off auto-correction, but I just turned off auto-capitalization as well. We'll see what's more annoying, capitalizing when I need it, or uncapitalizing when I dont....Phones suck for anything by text entries for email, Twitter, FB. etc.
You start doing serious business on them and the auto-correct/auto-punctuation will get you every time.
If I'm on my phone, I only send short messages, so screw caps completely anyways. If I know I'm going to have a longer response, I wait until I sit down at a computer.I tried to live without them for a while but it's just too useful as I'm always on iMessage or email and it drove me crazy.
The bulk backorder at WHC should be case-insensitive now.@FM I had that happen at WHC just this week, entering domains into the bulk TBR tool from my phone, and WHC isn't doing a case-insensitive match on domains, and therefore is ignoring orders for domains that had capitalization too. @rlm we have released the production feature to have an auth code emailed to the domain admin contact on request, check out:

Hi, this link isn't working now, apparently due to the CIRA site re-design.

Can you get it working again?
Thanks very much
