There is a lot of discussion around singular vs plural domain names and which one is worth more

I have heard some interesting takes on this question and have some ideas of my own on the subject but for the sake of stimulating discussion I will leave my thoughts out of this

So what say you? Which is better singular or plurals AND if your answer is depends please provide an example where you think the singular may be better and then one in which you believe the plural may be better give an example of each instance

To illustrate some might suggest that create dot com is better than creates dot com and that roses dot com is better than rose.com

I still prefer rose and would pay more for it.

I own holidays.ca and keep telling myself it is better than holiday.ca but in the end holiday.ca is used in commerce and not holidays so it kinda shows you which one had more value.

For resale, my preference is the singular but it all depends on what you/the end-user does with it.

The way I see it is...

Singular = Can be a brand for just about anything
Plural = Limited to e-commerce or a community

Precisely why they offer ice cream in both chocolate and vanilla
