bump. less than 24 hours to go. smarter.ca is up to $300 (I've been outbid). loh.ca and background.ca still at $200 sale price.

Apparently I committed a sin. I (Tom) am not a domainer. I do have a handful of domains that I have picked up from being in the trade (notably qu.ca), and if you folks had let smarter.ca go at $200, it would have become another one. What little $$ I have is in stocks. Even Vince outbid me on smarter.ca once the bidding finally started to happen. And the bid I did place was the first bid above $200 (no inside knowledge). And as for the long list of staff (two of us) at BareMetal. James is even less inclined to play the TBR game. In short, you don't have to worry about bidding against baremetal, or baremetal pushing the bidding up to your max-bid (you folks seem to do that to each other) ... I don't know if the buyer of circle.ca is here, but they could tell you there was a $1000 difference between their max bid and the price paid : ) ... Of course, at the end of the day, I (BareMetal hat back on now) am just another registrar saying "trust me" ... like all the others. : (
