You're definitely always going to see differences in data as they all will have their own algorithms for filtering out data. Even google isn't perfect, it might even be overzealous at times.

GA really gives you a lot more info, including letting you know what's most certainly bot traffic or not. Most bot traffic seems to always come from the same cities in the US (like Ashburn, Virginia and Boardman, Oregon, for example).

I barely check out the views tab at Dan now that I use GA, although i just compared the most recent views between both GA and Dan's interface and it doesn't quite check out. I can only assume Dan is a little delayed because GA can show you visitors in real time and the exact time of day a person visited.

Edit: Oddly enough, I also see a recent visit on Dan's interface that doesn't show at all on my GA.

I use that too but am in the middle of switching to Google Analytics 4 property.
I was hesitating on that because I was not looking forward to fiddling with everything again.

The dan stats are very basic but they can be useful when you just want a quick overview.

Not sure if it's related or not, but today I had 800 visits for a single domain that I let expire a while ago, and which is currently available for registration. Not sure what to make of it.
 
Really interested to see when they start domain registrations which he mentioned as well
 
I discovered the "Brandable" page layout setting on Dan, as opposed to using the Default, and I think it looks a lot better. Kind of makes the domain look like an NFT you'd see on OpenSea or Rarible, which is good for any potential buyers familiar with dealing in NFT's.

I entertained that but I decided to stay with the default Dan look just because of the trust factor. It's like a godaddy auction page, instantly recognizable, I would not want to change that. Put the focus on the domain instead of having the client worry if it's a real for sale page or not.
