Strange issue with WHC forwarding (1 Viewing)

All my domain forwarders are now going to:

whc.ca/domain-names/auctions/?test

I have them set to go to my market pages but all traffic is harnessed for the WHC auction :eek:

I did not know they needed business that badly?



See red.ca or pure.ca or waterloo.com

They are all set to forward to my market pages yet they go to the auction site.

I opened a ticket and sent a notice to Frank but its been a few hours and quite honestly I'm not ecstatic about 500 domains forwarding to the WHC auction instead of where I pointed them.
 
I'm on vacation at the moment, so our support is most certainly the best point of contact. I believe this issue has been identified and fixed now. Please accept my apologies on behalf of WHC for any inconvenience this may have caused.
 
Yup fixed, now go look at your webstats with all the extra traffic. :ROFLMAO:

I think it affects all forwards when it happens, probably an incorrect cpanel setting or something but all is good now.
 
Sorry, just to be clear, @MacMan and @MapleDots you've seen forwards of your domains to the WHC auction page before? Was this for newly acquired names in auctions or (like this time) other names? What did you do to resolve it? Can you remember approximately when this happened?

I've seen it at least a couple of times before and it involved my domain name or a domain name I was looking up from another member. Each time I thought strange, the domain had not been, nor is at auction. I never mentioned anything because it always resolved itself unlike the last time where it stuck around a bit.
 
If you encounter this again, please let me or our support know the time and domain.
 
Sorry man, was away for a few days
I've seen it a couple of times in the past but it was always corrected when I checked back the next day.
