Canoe will likely go for >$10k imo. It was a major news site for years and has more than 2 million genuine backlinks, including thousands of extremely high quality ones. All it takes is two SEO guys bidding and price will be crazy.

Mr Alphabet must be getting his funds in order for that one.

Quite an interesting list this week bel.ca and canoe.ca are the ones to watch.

Bel.ca will be limited in it's applicable uses and one would wonder if Bell is interested in this misspell.
If they are, all bidding is lost, they have deep pockets.

I think I am staying away from canoe, I'm not sure (outside of the obvious) how I would market it.

bio.ca is a runaway hit in my opinion but again, what business will ever call themselves bio?
Might be a while before one gets an acronym hit on that one.

All in all though, a fantastic drop, good luck everyone.

One of the best I have seen in a while. I will be interested to see what cams goes for

There seems to be a definite "lemming effect" whenever a mid-range TBR domain is bid on early at WHC. It's like ringing the dinner bell to the newbies that CIRA's (and other registrar's) mass promotion of the "Restricted Domain Release" has brought in and they all start bidding like drunken sailors.

YeeHaw, it's a Gold Rush!

After doing some deep-diving last night, I think you're spot on with this and I feel that BIO is easily the Fool's Gold Domain of the Week - relative to current and anticipated auction price.
