I'm actually up assisting with wildfires in northern BC... so after a 12 to 16+ hour shift (and a night shift at that), I'm more concerned about a decent sleep than TBR right now... My two weeks are almost done, that's typically what we get deployed for, then we have to go home for a rest. Sometimes doing this volunteer firefighting is much more like a real job. It's fun, see some crazy crap, get to travel all over the province, etc, but sometimes I think I'm too old for this crap!
I assumed that (good job BTW) and not that my work, charity and cross-generational familial duties are that harsh, but I'm a helper with a lot of useful skills so my days are usually full each and every day til about 9PM. No rest for the wicked.
