TBR Musings - January 13, 2021 (1.Viewing)

I guess we are at the end, all good .ca's are registered and being held, nothing good ever coming onto TBR again!

I realize you are attempting to make a joke here, but even so, did you somehow miss my comment that next week (Jan 20) was "looking good"? I fact, it's looking very good.

Conversely, this week (Jan 13 release) is looking very, very bad.

You guys can feel free to stop going through lists. I will let you all know if there’s anything.... ;)

You feel free to do that with this week's list... spend all the time you want, in fact, I would take the next 24 hours straight to make sure you didn't miss any ultra-premiums that are hidden inside. :D

I just like the joke that one day anything good in .ca will be tied up and these TBR's will be all junk. At least that's what I used to think could happen one day, but I doubt it will. Even good to great .com's are always still dropping, however the demand keeps increasing. I look forward to checking next week's TBR list now, will wait til next Tuesday.

Unless the entire system changes, the domain well will never go entirely dry, as people are always forgetting, running out of money, changing gears, and unfortunately, dying, so it will always be scenario of good, average, or bad TBR weeks.

And as others know, I don't bandy about the "bad TBR list" title without good reason.

Antarcti.ca is kinda cute...

I don' think these longer spans work too well, but I would like to own Afri.ca

Plus, it dropped from MyID, and you know what that means. :D

There might be one domain I would bid on this week, but that still depends on the price.

canadianassociationofprofessionalcannabissommeliers.ca?

I little shorter than that.... just a bit.

I did put 1 bid in at Sibername. I was kind of surprised it was a minimum $20 bid.

There does seem to be a few of interest, as NP has current top bid prices of $702 and $251... I'm drawing a blank on anything worth $700+ on this TBR, but maybe some company mistakenly dropped their name and are high-bidding to make sure they get it back - seen it happen many times before.

Great...You had to post it? Now everyone is going to want in and drive the price up ]:->

Was this a "that's what she/he said" joke, or is my mind in the gutter?

If your mind is in the gutter then so is mine.

So it was pawsway.ca that got the $700+ bid on NamesPro, but why?

I saw the name, I am familiar with the Purina PawsWay pet center and museum, which closed in 2017, but again, why is it worth over $700? Is there perceived traffic and backlinks that still exist from 2017? Is someone going to try and start up the business again?

It's got a pretty decent profile, so definitely worth it to someone who knows the SEO game
