We're working on this still and yes the CIRA results are the correct results, this will get sorted out. Please accept my apologies for the delay. The issue only affected Sibername.

Thanks for the update Frank and hopefully Santa will fill my cart soon. :D

Good to hear that Frank.

Is there still a Sybername - the remnants of the company?

How long until shutdown [notify]FM[/notify] ?

Can't give you a definite timeline at the moment, but the preparations are on the way. The most important part is to upgrade the features at WHC.

Damn, I just got an email from Sibername Customer Service...

... to remind me about my TBR auctions.

I got one too.. Too bad I can't bid on the domain I like, because it was captured by a different Registrar!

Hi, we're still working on this right now and will also notify all affected clients. Our apologies for the delay.

We've removed the auctions that were accidentally started at Sibername due to a bug. Messaging to affected bidders is being prepared.

More steps to follow obviously.

Thanks [notify]FM[/notify]

Out of curiosity, if I had bid on names that Sibername didn't catch, would there have been an auto-refund or would they/the system be unaware until I (the user) noticed?

[notify]Spex[/notify] I was in one such auction and it wouldn't allow me to bid on that domain. So, I think no one was able to bid on those which were not picked up by Sibername/WHC I think.

Now I see that that domain is removed and I no longer see it. So I see that they are at work and got a call from them to assure me that too. Good on WHC to do that.

However, I am still to be assigned from the ones they picked up and I am not in an auction for it. So that proves that I was the LONE bidder..one of those domains I liked from the pile!!

Excellent and I now hereby approve...

Yep, my min bid wins were already confirmed and I guess it's just a process of going though the TBR stragglers and assigning them to an account.

Thank you WHC/Sibername and [notify]FM[/notify]

Everything has been sorted out now and all is well on my side. Thank you for attending to it in a timely manner.

Messaging about the above is going out now.

The other winners who got notifications that we didn't get the domains, but we did, should see those in their "make a payment" section now, a message from our support team should follow shortly.

Sibername does not charge automatically and from what I can tell so far no one was charged for a domain that we didn't get, but we will double-check that.

Yep, I just checked and there they are.

Good work fixing this up, and hopefully your guys have figured out the issue and plugged it up for next week.

It was a fun time with database queries ;-) Now on to figuring out the root cause.

I just went to create a new TBr thread for this week and realized Eby used the wrong day for this thread.... *JOKINGLY*

Thanks Frank. Totally forgot about that. Guess it's a good fail-safe in scenarios like these
