Damn, if I whittle down my list any more I'll be into next week before I know it.

So basically anyone not interested in a domain anymore may attempt to list it on a marketplace to make at least a little bit of money.
So in theory the TBR lists should be getting worse over time and not better.

That is so true. Gone are the days when you could recover a domain or two, in case it fell through the cracks, when renewal time came. Everyone has realized it and it's becoming harder and harder to find quality domains in the regular weekly drops. Sure there are a few that shows up each week, but one has to wait for those major drops that happen only a few times each year these days.

I think Frank Schilling once said back in the day there are maybe 1.5 - to 2 million .com's worth owning ( I believe he meant generic/saleable domains). Now that may have been a little low, but even if you brought it up to 2.5M to 3M for .com, that gives you go the idea of the number of valuable .ca's - and.ca is no .com. Dot ca's are not my main business but I dabble enough to keep my head in the game this past 23 years.

Absolutely. I am waiting to see that drop to the usual 120-140 range. But then, there seems to be a few who still have some dough left in their account to pick them up and when a domain is marked "Hot" obviously it is causing some excitement.
Let's see how much longer this could continue without anyone getting seriously hurt. Well, that is the case in every market, be it Stocks, Crypto, NFTs or even the Bond Markets.

People are starting to realize that buying domains is a LOT easier than selling them, and seem to be adjusting their auction ceilings accordingly.

Seems like Sibername has been sending some screwed up emails today. Did anyone else have similar issues? Have written to them already and waiting on them to rectify them.

Too bad after close to 3 hours, there has been no new updates. It’s as simple as letting one know that the domain he/she requested was picked up and has been assigned to the account or placed in an auction rather than to be told that it wasn’t captured when it was and to be notified and placed in an auction when some other Registrar captured it and the domain already assigned to a registrant. Frustrating indeed!!

Hopefully we'll get word tomorrow that the situation has been cleared up, and that any domain wins are now in your account cart and any erroneous auctions have been corrected.
I agree it's all a bit disconcerting, as we put work into this and domains represent at least a portion of many livelihoods on here.
But on the positive side, Siber and WHC do have full control of the domains they won on the TBR this week, so at some point this should all get figured out and we can get back to complaining about the quality of this week's list.

We're working on this still and yes the CIRA results are the correct results, this will get sorted out. Please accept my apologies for the delay. The issue only affected Sibername.
