thought this was funny/sad at the same time

2yrs back I sold a 50% share in two domains for cash, made sense at the time to put them in the other persons acc for safekeeping due to me struggling with renewals

last year this person died......failed attempts with the trustee to get ownership so today I look.....yikes its due to expire shortly, so I ask if I can renew these domains until the trustee sorts out the paperwork,

yep, I can....so I renew the domains......then I ask the protocol and documentation required to the registrar, they respond that i need approval from [NAME-REMOVED-PER-REQUEST] (ET).....$%#$$## that's not the person i sold 50% share too

so I paid ET's renewal on two domains

Bill of sale stating facts....

always send an invoice/bill of sale stating the specifics of the sale.

Looks to me like your domain may have been sold.

Looks like Mr 50% sold the domains to ol' [NAME-REMOVED-PER-REQUEST], pocketed the entire sum himself, then went and died before you could find out and extract your pound of flesh. The perfect crime.

You should turn this into a novel.
