In your opinion....

What is the best domain name in the world?

In my opinion it is world.com

What is your opinion?

I like Home.com and X.com personally

Rogers cable in Canada used to use the @home address and I had an email address me@home.com for years.

I used me@home.com for personal and me@mydomain.com for business.

I was so upset when Rogers switched @home to @rogers, I dumped the address immediately.
They dumped @home at the same time they switched you yahoo.com as their email system.

PS. Welcome aboard @CanadaNames (y)

me@home.com is crazy for being a Rogers email, how did you get ahold of that?

Also, thanks! Great site - I've been lurking on dn.ca for a while and have been into domains for quite some time. Recently, I built a small .ca portfolio and when I saw CanadaNames.ca on the TBR list yesterday, for $10 I thought it would be a pretty solid name to operate under. Looks like you had it for a bit previously.

They issued thousands of those emails, it was part of Rogers at the time

Yes it was, I have too many domains revolving around the domaining industry so I let a number of them drop.

Trying to sell a domaining name to a domainer is an attempt at futility.

depends on your definition, but i could argue for usa.gov

Pretty hard question to answer, but I would go with a numeric .com since numbers are pretty much universal. A single numeric would probably be best, but any meaningful number would work so my vote goes to...360.com

God.com - It use/could still be owned by Kevin Ham l(Canadian and one of the .co creators).

What could be “higher”? :)

I'm pretty sure that the USA has more money than god or anyone else. So I still think USA.gov wins haha.

Speaking of Kevin, if you're not a linkedin connection with him, he's asked me to help promote his new project - so check out Ham.com to see what Kevin is up to.

X.com in my opinion. Of all the other alphabets, only Q.com and Z.com resolve to a site and q.com points to another site, which leaves Z.com as the only other active site. But X.com stands tall because of the way it is used and the man behind it imo.
