I can't reproduce this myself, but I'll ask our team to check the logs and see what they can find there. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

It happens whenever I am logged out and looking over the TBR orders at Backorder .CA Domain Names | Web Hosting Canada, then I try to add a new TBR order and process it, so it asks me to log in. When I do hit Sign In, I get a big red Server Error message at the top of the screen.

This never happened before this weekend and it's the standard way I order TBR domains.

I just did it again using a Fake order for Goutes.ca and here is the screenshot (with my ID and password deleted, naturally):

Just an FYI that the "Server Error" when trying to log in straight from the TBR Orders page + Active Cart is still alive and well and confirmed on multiple PCs/laptops.

Thank you, we have not entirely tracked down the reason for this yet. I will update you here once a fix is in place.

No problem, it's getting irritating running into it over and over because of muscle memory.

Sorry for the issues you experienced, we deployed our new auction interface this morning and were just in the middle of double-checking for issues ourselves. I appreciate that you reached out to our support.

Please reach out to me or our support directly if you experience any further issues.

In the New UI, I am constantly trying to find the Refresh button - it was a different shape and positioned in a different area in the old system, so maybe it needs a different color like GREEN?

You don't really need to refresh any more as the bids should update automatically - it's on the top right though.

Hey Frank

Whenever I click "Get a new domain" or "Transfer domain" it opens in a new window.

It would be pretty easy to set that into the control panel right?

It overrides my existing tab and once I start a transaction I cannot get back to the control panel unless I open another tab and hit my bookmark to open the control panel again.

While there are some nice improvements on the Auction Bidding using the New UI (such as the screen not refreshing when an auction closes) I am also NOT a big fan of the "Closed" designation, as today on my screen a pile of listings changed to Closed, and then a few minutes later updated with active bids.

Talk about mass confusion as I literally didn't know which direction was up and which was down.

It's far better to have the ones that actually close totally disappear from the list like on the old system. Either that, or DO NOT display a "Closed" notation on an auction until its actually 100% CLOSED.

I see we do have a few bugs here that will be addressed and fixed ASAP, so I appreciate your feedback and error reports.

Obviously I know it's on the top right, but when I have multiple auctions displaying erroneous info (like "Closed") I just think something to differentiate this type of ACTION BUTTON (as opposed to the passive and "useless-to-active auctions" Last Results and Archives buttons) like a different color.

Add is Blue and it's an action button, so why not Green for Refresh?

And yes, you still need to refresh as otherwise I would have thought I won several auctions as they sat there with a "Closed" status until I physically hit the Refresh button.

Apologies for the confusion/issues this caused, there's definitely still some improvements on the sync'ing needed. I appreciate your feedback, and as always will review it and bring it to our team.

I really dislike the Closed format (it's flaky as crap and cost me two auctions today) and I much prefer the "Drop Off the List" system from the old UI.

No auction with a late bid should ever display "Closed", and that has nothing to do with synching. Closed = Drop Off the List and it shouldn't be some notation that automatically displays each time the auction timer reaches zero.

We're still investigating the issues from yesterday and will update you here and in the tickets for those who opened one.

Hi Frank,

Can you clarify this a bit for me? You're saying it opens in a new window and it overrides your existing tab? For me, it opens in the same tab in the new client area as it does in the old one. If I want to open it in a new tab, I can click on the link while pressing the CTRL button.

Thanks for your feedback,
/Frank

Yes it overrides the current tab and then you order and such but no way to get back to the control panel unless you type in the nav bar again.

Could buying or transfer not be more integrated into the control panel. Instead of overriding the tab have it load (like in a frame) inside the main viewing area of the control panel.

I guess I can right click to new window but it seems a bit non intuitive.
