I have bought some domains on eBay, but I don't think it is really worth the effort as a buyer or seller.

It's a great platform to pick up the occasional bargain, and to browse some horrible domains with delusional pricing, but is useless for selling. I still use eBay to buy obscure physical items, and I sold a ton of my second-hand electronic gadgets on eBay back in the day.
I've bought about 20 or so domain names over the years and if you hunt you can sometimes find a bargain.
