With ETH.co selling at $300, 0000 USD what do you think ETH.ca is worth?

I notice it is parked at godaddy.

Tough one to value but I wouldn't be in a hurry to sell for low xx,xxx.

I think the price goes as Ethereum goes, some think it will surpass the bitcoin market cap and it is currently one of the top two cryptos with a lot of tokens and smart contracts continually being built onto it. Also the creator is Canadian and has a .ca website already at vitalik.ca

Personally I'd wait until the right buyer came along in at least the xxx,xxx range. I mean look at what crypto whales are willing to pay for an NFT.

Good example of how a domain can have limited value before something is created, and then after become worth a lot more. You never know when a two or three or four letter acronym may become adopted by something big, but sure it's a bit of a lottery ticket.

I guess another question could be is ETH.ca more or less valuable than ETH.co?

I'd say the .ca would have lesser value in this case, given the .co is more universal with no restrictions. The .ca could still be a six figure domain to the right buyer, especially someone who got into crypto early.

Hate to be a spoiler here.

I don't think that Ethereum foundation or Vitalik would be interested in ETH.ca or even ethereum.ca. It could be masked into a personal ETH wallet address and that's the best use I could think of.

Correct me if I am wrong, I believe the guy who paid $300K for the .CO domain would have done well to purchase 120 ETH for that money. He could come out a winner at the end imo.

But eth.ca would work fine for someone dealing in Canada.

Don't know about you but living in Canada I would be much more confident dealing with eth.ca than eth.co

You never really know where the .co is based so chances are they would not get my hard earned money.

I remember when I bought 1 oz gold maple coins, the ones with the hologram.
First thing I did was to make sure they were brand new and offered by a Canadian source.

To this day I own quite a few of them.

Absolutely. 100%. That is the value to not opening .CA to the rest of the world.

Honestly speaking, there is no need for an ETH entity in Canada. It's a worldwide phenomenon which has left the station. Also, no one goes to an ETH or Ethereum website to buy the coin. They go to an exchange to buy them. And there are no dedicated ETH exchanges..they deal with every kind of coin. So it's not necessary. I found it hilarious when Cardano.ca was in TBR recently and there were several bids on it. Charles is not going to buy it and neither will IOHK for that matter.

I think gold will be going a lot higher in next few years, so hold those coins!

Dogecoin.ca was also in TBR in past year I think, before the price took offer.

As for ETH.ca, there are people out there, and some of them Canadians I imagine, that were buying ETH at 10 cents or a dollar each when it came out, and probably bought a lot. So I could see a Canadian crypto holder buying ETH.ca for high 5 figs or low 6 figs just as a vanity domain. Or even one of the Canadian crypto exchanges like Netcoins.ca, Bitbuy or CoinSquare. Some of these people are used to paying big dollars for NFTs already, so a one of a kind matching domain for ETH could be seen as having value. Not to mention if crypto prices have another big run like some people think, will make us see a lot more domain sales to these companies and investors.
