Custom URL: dn.ca/forsale/red.ca

We are using the following URL structure

dn.ca/forsale/domain.ca

If you want to assign a PREMIUM Listing and custom URL please make a listing to submit it for approval.

Not all domains will qualify for PREMIUM status, but you can look at current premium Domains to get an idea what is premium.

Once approved you will be asked to e-transfer $25 to pay@dn.ca to cover the Premium Listing Fee

Keep in mind by using this service you are supporting expenses at DN.ca.
All income will be reinvested back into the service to assure constant upgrades for a world class .CA member site.

What would you rather do...

1.
Pay a commission on sales?
2. Make your own lander but not be in grouped exposure?

3. Pay a one time listing fee of $25 to list with other premium domains while at the same time supporting our great Canadian resource at DN.ca!!

The listing is ad free and there is a link on every listing where clients can see all your premium domains.

Match it with a free Market Page and you have a winning combination (y)

PS. We don't see a lot of financial support and with the upcoming Xenforo updgrade we have to update most of our custom scripts which means we will have additional expenses. Plus we are once again outgrowing our server resource, our monthly page count is in the millions taking us over our resources.

Supporting Premium Listings allows us to fund raise without asking for donations.

Marketpages are now also prominently featured on DNmarket.ca

Make a NEW post on your Market Page to bump it to the top.

Same for a Premium Listing, posting underneath moves it to the top.

Effective emmediately Premium Listings will be showcased via the Featured Listings section.

The top 30 are in the slider and all featured are on the featured page.

If you would like your ad to be featured you must modify the listing so there is a unique graphic at the top of your listing. If the graphic qualifies we will feature your Premium Listing free of charge. The latest 30 will appear in the slider on the main page and as they age they will drop to the main featured page.

Please note the date is set by when the listing is featured and our object is to keep this fresh and interesting.

Another value added feature for Premium listings...

I've said this before, but the site is quickly transforming from a forum into a sales venue, which is fine if that's the end goal, but I feel this will lead to decreased user participation rates as users start to realize this.

Just look at the front page - all the major areas and fields are dedicated to SELL, SELL, SELL.

That is no secret, it is a forum made from inception to discuss, promote and sell .CA domain names both at wholesale and retail levels.

The marketplace has always been front and centre and the discussions are for industry news etc.

The Discussion area is still placed at the top with the market underneath, but yes the Premium listings is how we pay the bills and the intention is to give them the maximum exposure to assure value for the $25 spent.

Why act shocked that a domain forum is commercial? That's the one kind of selling that actually belongs here. If the place starts turning into a billboard for hosting, VPNs, logo contests, and random affiliate garbage, then sure, I'd agree. But premium listings and marketplace visibility on a domain forum is about as on-topic as it gets.
We are tweaking the settings, it won't show price because not all domains are priced, you will have to click it.

By overlay can you specify what you mean... is it the picture?
I was referring to the greyed out area at the bottom, it takes away from the pretty pictures.

1.Yes, we don't use outside ads and promoting member listings is a great way to create interest and add value for the members supporting the operational expenses.

2. Yes, I am working on that as well as the images, will take a day or so for me to tweak everything.
