@Legalnonconforming how do you like the overlay now?

I went back to the smaller slides because the bigger ones looked overwhelming but I removed everything except the domain name on the slides.

Now I'm trying to determine order and layout but I don't have a lot of Premium listings to pick from because a ton of them don't have a picture or graphic so I can't load them. I don't like that so many of the listings are mine so I need everyone to participate and make a nice Premium listing with a graphic so I can get it loaded.

The 25 bucks supports the site and you get a ton for it...

1. Custom address dn.ca/for sale/domain.ca
2. You can edit your listing indefinately
3. You can delete members posts from your listing
4. You get a free market page to use as a directory
5. You get featured for a while under every single topic on the site
6. You get featured on the right side of the main page
7. Nice listings get featured in the slider

Grab your free slide when you can because for future the only listings that will be in the Featured Premium Slider will have to be priced over 250k and will have to contain a graphic with a well laid out Listing that shows creativity and effort.

So right now most anyone can get on the slider but that will change as it populates and only the best of the best will appear there showcasing them possibilities of what .CA domains can be.

I would change the heading from "Featured Listings" to "Featured Domains for sale" or something clearer. If you landed here, the featured listings at first glance look like ads I would normally ignore, especially the x2 animation.

I wonder if a focus on the domain itself would be more appropriate? As much as I like the branding, it looks more like fiverr logo concepts than domains for sale.

It's easily done, we could even use colours for price ranges.

Lets get some feedback from members

I am currently adding prices to all of mine on the Slider and upon reflection have decided only Priced Premiums will show up there.

So first thing in sight for visitors will be expected price on Premium Domains. Make Offer means nothing and does not promote .CA, it basically shows no intrinsic value.

That said nothing is cast in stone and everything is open to member discussions. It is OUR forum and I'm here to get to a happy medium to assure the greatest success for all of us.

Sometimes a logo gives a new perspective on a domain. I'll bet Brandbucket and Atom have sold lots of domains because of the logo.

I was getting way too many messages to change pricing in the slider and since that is not editable by members I decided to remove it. So since Premium listings are editable indefinitely all the member has to do is edit their ad. You can also change your slider image by changing the image in your ad.

Remember if you want to be featured on the slider you need to have a graphic on your Premium Listing.

You all have Premium Listings that could be on rotation on the slider.

Simply add a graphic (to the first post) and send a direct message to be featured on rotation.

A while back we offered one Free Premium Listing to each member, that offer has expired but...

So here is a new offer to get the ball rolling

Post a nice Premium Domain in Free Listings, add a graphic with a well worded description and send me a DM with a link to the listing and I will activate one Free Listing for each member.

Current Premium Listings (mentioned in the post above) that are currently not on the slider just need a nice descriptive graphic to be activated.
