All domains cost between 10-15 bucks to register so one could argue that no domain should have a high end value. Now in this case I paid almost 50 times registration cost, if anything that makes the domain more valuable to an end user. Domains are about supply and demand, nothing else matters and I could care less who knows what I purchased for.
I think Rick Schwartz the domain King blogged about this at one point. Theoretically all domains have a 10-15 dollar acquisition cost but that does not stop us from selling them for millions.
