And now everyone is rifling through their portfolios hoping they finally have a buyer for their misc furniture domains like couches.ca, sofas.ca, tables.ca, etc... They're too late for Chairs.ca though - I see its already used by a retailer to redirect to their chairs page.

I do that on my shopping site as well, I take matching domains and forward them exactly to that section on my website.

Statistically it works very well for me and it gives me a competitive edge.

Furniture.com America LLC, operators of Furniture.com, a premium domain name registered in 1999, have applied for the registration of the stylized mark, FURNITURE.COM.

According to the application, the mark consists of the stylized verbiage furniture.com as seen below:

I'm not sure I would shop at furniture.ca it looks too generic and I'd be concerned about customer service or a warranty repair.
