There's a huge thread on NP about this. Joe Styler said this issue was resolved. I checked the the .com you posted and couple of my other domains. I am not getting the same error.

I also hate that it does this in the address bar:

At Dan it would be:

https:// dan.com/buy-domain/mapleplumbing.com

or

https:// mapleplumbing.com
