I don't see why not, but it has to make sense or be already commonly used so it would not be a stretch to memorize.
Personally "pave the way" doesn't release dopamine in my domainer/marketer part of the brain
but beauty is in the eye of the.....
With recent passing in domain community I would register "rest in peace" "in loving memory" if I could. Anyways, I am interested in obituary type of domains if someone has them for sale

If it was a well-known 3-word combo like "Rest in Peace" I would have a decidedly different opinion on its marketability.
In general I would not be putting a lot of $$$$ into 3-word .CA domains, unless of course they regularly appear on greeting cards.

I didn't make any assumptions on use based on the phrase. Just didn't know it will be a lefty org. using it already
I have been guilty of not selling to organizations I don't sympathize with but if they only used a broker and didn't lie to me it might have had a happier ending
Also, some have been passive aggressive with me based on my outside of domaining posts in the past.
Agreed, a domain needs to have some kind of future or possibility of use otherwise it is a poor hold.

In the first post wepavetheway.com is in use by a paving company.
I think the twitter post above is a perfect example of how that domain could be used.
I think the domainer that bought PaveTheWay.ca was very smart and personally I think he has a decent chance to sell it.
Kind of like RideTheWind.ca which is now active (thanks to me) and it will replace RideTheWindEbikes.ca in the near future.

Don't know this sector at all, I actually didn't see the name use in this way until you pointed it out just now. I was thinking more philosophical applications than physical.
Pave the way doesn't sound like a for profit construction corporate name for me but those are my feels on it. Thinking outside the box can pay well.
if it's a three (or more) word phrase that is well known and can be used in a clever commercial way, it can be good or even great!
Not to mention the domain in the first post is longer and it's still recommended by a very well known domain author.
You might have heard of Sully's Blog - I enjoy it immensely.
