What's your thoughts on this strategy?

IMO it's a good move to weed out fake offers / tire kickers.
MarkUpgrade was founded in 2018 by “a small group of entrepreneurs” led by Tatiana Bonneau. The mystery-shrouded domain branding company leverages a portfolio of solid domains and they are priced accordingly.

MarkUpgrade’s mission is to connect the best domain names available globally to the most suitable companies for them, according to their web site at MarkUpgrade.com.

Domainer Nat Cohen also uses this strategy, and has done so for years. Very effective at weeding out the tire-kickers and time-wasters.

Nat only charges $20. And I doubt he sells anything under $100K. So I doubt he’s losing sales over $20.

There is always the person that won't do business with someone out of principle.

Just saying there is always a possibility if you peeve someone off and people with money often say it's the principle of it
