I'm just tired of this Restricted Domain insanity and I know in a year's time some people are going to be pulling their hair out at the crazy and unsustainable prices being paid.

I had to pay my fair share to learn and accumulate and so did everyone. But I agree, the longer it takes to off load what’s being picked up now, the painful it could become. But there are certain domains that are truly worth the money but they are few.

We took a route that worked for us and then there are others who take a different route to get there I believe. That’s life!

Tell that to the Crypto and NFT guys whose lives were ruined by "learning a different way". Sometimes "there" is not a nice place to be.

The market is always the ultimate judge of any "new strategy" and I just don't see the .CA market expanding at such an extreme rate that it will immediately support those inflationary TBR wholesale prices.

These current prices are for hobbyists who just buy a few select names and then hold them for 10-20 years when the market may have caught up.

I wouldn't say that these are being bought by only hobbyists. Senior members here are also buying them and putting them to good use. But I agree that there may be others who are paying way up high.

Seems like, the end users are doing the same, with notable members here claiming that the domains we saw in the drops were domains they sold to end users for a substantial amount, only to see them drop back again. That's the life cycle of a domain name to me.

In your opinion, some examples?
