Lost a sale because of GoDaddy appraisal (1.Viewing)

At least this buyer responded to her. how many other buyers check the appraisal and move on to a different name?

GoDaddy is not factoring in that domainers have overhead costs. In some cases domainers with thousands of domains may only sell 1-2 per year and the prices quoted are also for the upkeep of a catalog that kept the domain available for that special project when a client needed it.

Swetha does have a point but with her experience selling .xyz domains for high 5 figures and low 6 figures, couldn’t she just respond by showing some of her previous “sales” and appraisals for that name in particular and mention that the GD appraisal should just be used only as a guide and doesn’t necessarily represent the real value of a domain?

I do appreciate the GD evaluations but it definitely can be off for some names. Especially some .ca’s as many of us have noticed.
