Seeking clarification: This section is for posting what domains sold for in TBR auctions? Or what domains that were picked up in TBR were later sold for? I could imagine some people not loving the former being reported publicly like this...

I truly don’t think what someone purchases a domain for has any hinderance to a future sale. At least it hasn’t impacted it for me. I guess it all depends how you approach a potential buyer.
Just like when I pick up a name in TBR and it says I registered it yesterday doesn’t mean I’m going to sell it to you today for $100. It really is the same concept when it comes to the price paid for a domain.
This already occurs in .com; names picked up in a drop are being reported from Dropcatch, Namejet and so on. Let’s not forget this used to happen in .CA as well but no one seems to get bothered by that.
Has it made a difference that .CA TBR domains have not been reported on namebio? I really don’t think so.
Plus these TBR sold prices are mostly higher than namebio posted sales that are happening. I noticed no one wanted to bring up the newest .CA reported sale of eak.ca for $150 USD. I prefer 100 sales a month rather than just 1 big sale. At least end users know there is activity.

Considering almost all domains have a true value of around 10 bucks (registration cost) and still sell in the thousands. So if someone paid $200 in TBR that should technically not impact a sale. Because somewhere back whenever, someone's cost was 10 bucks.

There are many reasons why I have not reported sales. The main reason is for privacy and/or non disclosure agreements. That may change in the future though.

Exactly. Thats why it has no relevance whether TBR prices are reported to me. Some of my own have been reported and I’m not upset about it. The price I paid for a domain does not determine what I sell it for.
As of today September 25th 2021 the TBR forum will no longer be accessible to guests and google indexing.
I made this decision after chatting with a couple of members that were not comfortable having TBR discussions index on google. So unless you are a registered member the TBR section is now as close to a private forum as it gets.
That means when we talk about an acquisition price for domain.ca on TBR we no longer have to worry about it indexing and a prospective client seeing the post.
I hope everyone is happy with that change
