I did not make it to the NomCom slate this time, so I'm not sure if it makes sense. I've been on the member's slate multiple times and haven't been successful, so I'm not 100% sure if it makes sense doing that again. I'm debating it.@FM is running?
The application is done through the website. Elected board members serve three-year terms. During this time they’re expected to serve on committees and attend at least five board meetings and the AGM in September. I understand that the board meetings are mostly virtual at the moment. How does one apply, can one do it remotely or would that person have to be at CIRA head office daily?
The domainer vote by itself is not enough - IIRC you need about 200+ votes to get in.I can make time and would consider it if I thought I could get enough support.
That said, if you could not get enough support my chances are probably nil.
Will support you Frank. Go for it.The domainer vote by itself is not enough - IIRC you need about 200+ votes to get in.
Thank youWill support you Frank. Go for it.
Sorry for the late reply - but I won't be running this year, but I will consider again next year.I just feel my chances on the NomCom slate would be better, but I don't seem to make it there, probably due to my lack of not-for-profit experience. I'll think about it again over the weekend. Thank you for your support.
