Exactly my point - Singh could act like a tough guy all he wanted, knowing he's fully protected. He's on film, security is nearby - probably felt like an actor.

I doubt he'd be as aggressive at 2AM in a dark alley.

This is the kind of thing people push for that fail to have even a basic understanding of economics.

And that's not even counting the fact that Canada is effectively bankrupt already, and a UBI would impossible to implement. That is, unless we imported about 10 million new people a year to make those already holding Canadian debt willing to give us enough to cover the massive UBI costs each year.

And that would be a direct path to madness.

We need a PM who actually took an Economics class and isn't bought and sold by the globalist community.

Bitcoin was around $85k when I wrote this, today it's $127k (CAD $).

there are a lot of positive catalysts to send it higher too, like the US adding bitcoin to their strategic reserve which Trump said he would do, the message that sends to the rest of the world on what to do, and even if that doesn't happen, the US regulators won't be as negative to crypto development as the previous administration.

I hope Trump puts the screws to Trudeau. I remember they had a summit and were in front of reporters where Trump was calling out Trudeau for not meeting their NATO spending target. Trudeau was fumbling with one of his minions trying to calculate their current spending %, which was well below what was promised. Trump will own Trudeau and his administration will call out all the stupid policies of the Liberals imo.

I never thought it would come to this, but Canada is now the laughing-stock of the world.

I'm on X the other day and every second post is a derogatory comment about how we've quickly devolved from a nation everyone envied into one that is an absolute swamp of cultural violence and woke idiocy. The Americans sure love to kick falling stars like Canada down the ladder, just like they do to their celebrities and politicians. And we deserve it.

I've said it before, but Trudeau has ensured that every single one of the world's major problems is now tucked inside our population of ~40 million people. Some said the task would be impossible, and there was no way he could import enough toxic people to create unending cultural warfare, but Trudeau has actually done it.

I'm not sure why Trudeau wanted to ruin Canada, but he must really hate us to create a nightmare scenario like this that will take decades to fix, if it's even possible at this point. Everyone knows he's a narcissist, but it was a bit of a surprise when he booted his family to the curb (a common tactic when someone is ready to go 'scorched earth') and really set to work wrecking this country, while also planning his exit strategy.

Trudeau is right up there with the all-time great leaders like Lenin, Hitler and Mussolini.

I think Trudeau is ignorant and naive. He truly believes his policies on climate, gender and diversity are good for Canada and will make our economy better, despite the many obvious pitfalls and failures now apparent to most, but ignored by him. His massive ego just makes him double down and refuse to admit he’s wrong. At this point he is actually causing suffering and danger to Canadians. Liberals know they will lose the next election in a landslide and are grasping at their last moments in power like a dictator would.

You have to wonder how Trudeau got voted in 3 times, I blame those voters who should have known better. 1 in 5 Canadians still support the Liberals according to polls, how is it that high? Whatever Harper did to get voted out pales in comparison to the utter mismanagement of the last ten years.
