I agree with Bill. Calling the owner a registrant can be confusing. The flip side is when a buyer refers to a domain as a website they do not usually have any money, but at the same time you want to cater to all that visit the domain to increase conversions and not cause confusion. While on the subject that is why I am not bullish about each sales landing page having a custom logo.
Buyer comes to the name. Sees DQL Logo, Sees Saw.com branding along with all kinds of other stuff....It can get confusing.
