I guess they want to make themselves an intermediary, to take $50 or $69 or $129 (or whatever they're pricing themselves lately) plus a percentage. But, a motivated buyer will figure out the true contact info, eventually.
I like the minimal landers, and have set all of the names I have pointed at Atom to them. While descriptions probably added to some domain names, to most they were irrelevant or more. I like that the minimal takes away the obvious category links that lead people off to explore other names.
I see they now have customizable ones that you can turn on and off specific elements, but I think I will just stay with minimal.
I agree with comment just above that the seller dashboard has always been awfully busy at Atom.
My ADD went into overdrive when I tried Atom, there is just too much of everything, more settings, more landers, more fluff, just too too much.
I ended up at DomainEasy because it was just that easy.
I also use saw and what both these platforms have in common is their ease of use but the saw landers look a bit outdated so I prefer the domaineasy look.
