Ironically I open my inbox and there's hundreds of emails still flooding in about bids received, outbid notices, etc... Then there's an email from a spammer with the subject line: We Offer Business Loans
Are these guys reading my inbox or something???

If you can believe it, I won zip at WHC other than a $30 junker. Anything really good and I was second place or pretty close to the top, but I just seems there are 'cough' people 'cough' who just bid whatever it takes to win.
So your family is actually going to use seafood.ca as a business site?
If so, it makes sense then and I was looking at it as a wholesale price for resale. And at least this will be one domain that doesn't go into the Bermuda Triangle/Black Hole of Calcutta.
Yeah, I went into that wanting it too, but I didn't have a particular end use for it - other than just having an affinity for seafood and some other good seafood domains. And for an end-user, you have to deal with shipping products, so not easy to get into and also expensive shipping costs. So that's why I didn't push too hard for it. In comparison, Charters are something that gets booked in advance, deposits/payments made online, etc... So that's something I could potentially do much more with on my own.

Of the ones I was involved in, I thought Lois was probably the best deal (that one slipped by me due to the mass of auctions) and I was very surprised that Decor didn't go higher than some of the others. That's a killer domain that is both an EMD and a brand. I really wanted Advanced, but as it was creeping towards $3000, I had to bow out at some point.
