It's bad enough that Fast Food corporations (like the Brazilian-owned Tim Hortons) are creating new and even-more-evil chemical concoctions to kill us, you can't even go to the grocery store and expect to buy real food. When stuff we're eating is banned in China, that should be a wake-up call.

If North Americans spent a month in Europe eating their food, they wouldn't want to go back. Too bad Europe is already dying a slow death from the continuing migrant crisis, or I might think about heading over there to stay, as everyone in the family but me has an EU passport.

Meanwhile companies like Subway are poisoning us with look alike bread.

That's not even bread, it's sawdust with chemicals added to hold it together.

Subway used to sell real bread if you ordered the specialty types, but then everyone started doing that, so they got rid of all those bread types and it's 100% Fake Bread City now.

Next step - Soylent Green!
 
This is what happens when small business gets pushed aside in favor of monolithic corporations who view us as no better than insects.

Instead of locally-owned bakeries, delis, restaurants and other small food-based businesses (serving actual food) on every block, we've sold our soul to "Big Fake Food" ('It's cheaper' the unwashed masses cried) and now all you see is garbage food, foreign-owned corporations like Tim Hortons, Subway, Fat Macs, Wendy's, Burger King, et al, all served by Temporary Foreign Workers to create even higher profits.

And now they're really turning the screws by using their effective monopoly to radically crank up the prices on their cancer-causing chemical concoctions.

Getting sick was never so expensive.

RFK is trying to get rid of bad dyes and chemicals in foods in the US, hopefully the same comes to Canada. I've heard there's some dyes in US cereals that aren't allowed in Canadian cereals, so maybe its not as bad here in some ways.

I have also heard that people who can't eat gluten in North America due to allergies and getting sick from it, can go to Europe and eat the bread and pasta over there and have no problem with it. That's kind of scary.
