TBR Drop - Jul 9, 2025 (1.Viewing)

Register.ca follows the grape process and uses the same system:
To Be Released Domain Names (TBR) links to
TBR Dot-CA Domain Names

Thank you FM @FM

I made a new profile and will probably add them to TBR support

Do you have a contact there so I can invite them to the topic?

Any bets where feature.ca will end up?

A probably at way too-high a price.

It's a very nice domain, but hardly an ultra premium and it really doesn't work that well as a brand - it's really more like a partial brand. Usually a company would use Feature+Word or Word+Feature as their core brand, which makes it a very tough sell given the $$$$ it will eventually go for at TBR auction.

When I try to use it as a brand, as in "Hey, let's go over to Feature" or "So what did you buy today at Feature", it seems to be missing a word. My brain automatically goes to "Creature Feature" or "Feature Film", etc.

But I bet a whale will pay a LOT of money just to own the domain and probably won't care if it ever sells.

Never mind my post above

So I went to all the trouble of signing up at Register.ca and just like FM said Register.ca uses the same system which I assi=umed meant the same software.

Well....

Turns out it's actually the same GRAPE system, all links after registering at register.ca lead directly to grape so any domains won by Register.ca will end up actually at the grape auction.

And Feature.ca is currently hovering at just under $1000 with 2 days to go.

A part of me wants to buy it just because, but the sane part knows I'll still be holding it when I'm deep in the ground.

lol, I'm sure it won't be the only one! If you can sell 99.9% of your portfolio before you die, you'll be doing very well.

Yep, but this one I'm pretty sure won't be selling anytime soon.

Had I bought it for $100, maybe, but spending that amount of money requires a commensurately huge retail price in order to make sense.

Facilitate.ca is currently at $1250 on BM and has been extended another 24 hours.
