Superfast WHOIS & Register widget (1.Viewing)

We have improved the " Register or Lookup .CA " widget.

1. You can punch in a domain name with or without the .ca part when looking up a domain.

2. If the domain is already registered it will provide whois.

3. If the domain is available it will provide links to local registrars.

4. It will show a different set of Canadian registrars with each search.

We are using the CIRA database but have customized the widget to draw directly from the data instead of having a middle screen there like before.

We hope you like it.

PS. We have now placed the widget top right under the NEW POST button.

It rotates between all 34 registrars and shows 8 via each visit but you have a " View all Certified Providers " button underneath.

why is purity.ca a restricted domain?

Was only accessible from the main page so I decided to place it in the header so its accessible from ANY page.

Let me know if you like it there or if I should move it back to the side menu.

If the domain is registered it will show alternate domains and a button for Whois, but if you want to see the registered site you can click where the red arrow is above.

If the domain is available, that is when it shows the registrars.

Its convenient that you can use you enter button on your keyboard instead of the submit button as well.

Even faster, you don't have to type the .CA part of the lookup.

So why do you need the submit button at all, it would look much better in the header without a button.
