Is this suddenly a political term now, as I thought it originated with NHL legend Gordie Howe, and was a hockey term for playing the game rough & tough.

Oh I see now, the little Irishman we have put in power has appropriated this as a "Liberal Slogan" when they clearly have absolutely no idea of its origin or true meaning. To think to think that Gordie Howe would stand behind the current Liberal Party is pure insanity.
