Their .CA domain valuations have totally gone to shit. I just ran through about a dozen of my past sales through their appraisal tool and I would have lost over $2M in revenue from just those sales had I sold at their valuations. Even the recent sales mentioned here for Shop.ca and Pay.ca had valuations of only around $12K each. Their valuations are now more like a wholesale value, prices you'd pay for these domains in TBR.

So how are you going to sell a domain like Pay.ca for $500K through Atom when they're happy to tell your buyer that they only value the domain at $12K ???

I can agree that Atom recently dropped the appraisal value of .CA domains through the floor. In your account there is a Portfolio Valuation number and one day out of the blue, mine just dropped by around 25%, and further investigation showed my .CAs were the only domains contributing to that loss.

I'd estimate maybe a 35% overall drop in .CA values hit sometime in August.

Ever since Atom released their "New Negotiation System" in mid-August of this year, my sales have totally stopped. I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence, but the evidence that something is 'wrong' with the new system gets more convincing each and every day.

I received an offer via spaceship this morning even though the domain resolves to my mapledots lander which means the client went through namecheap or searched directly at spaceship.

Atom is missing that unless they have an agreement with sedo or something.

I pulled my domains out of atom, no inquiries at all. Three inquiries in a week at spaceship and the first one came as DNS barely propagated.
