Not sure how specific to domain biz you want to customize the CRM, but I've been a happy customer of LessAnnoyingCRM.com for about 10 years now. My team at Name Ninja uses it to track project leads and projects. You can try it out for free. My fave thing about it is that it is easily customizable without having to hire a geek/consultant to do the customization, unlike SalesForce.com.
