I don't think that was pulling out the big guns at all. Just an ordinary investment.

There were a couple of mitigating factors though:

1. My grandson's name is Henry, so I figured what the hell - even though I already have his surname too.

2. I just happened to receive a payment yesterday in the exact amount I needed to make the purchase - so it was a wash anyways.
 
You know HunterBoots.ca sells a lot more than boots right?

Hunter.ca would be a perfect fit.

I think even outside of that it's one of the more valuable domains on the list especially if the Conservatives get back into power and remove some of the restrictive gun laws. My son and I are sport shooters (no killing animals) and we are lucky we got our rifles before the bans. Nowadays you can only buy used with almost everything restricted. If that changes back the domain will become even more valuable.

I was more referring to the domains with that statement. I was literally waffling between PMing about both Hunter and Olympus, but being Mr Frugal (even though end-of-year sales have been good), I snoozed and lost.

To me, Hunter and Olympus were the BigGuns.ca on that list.

* interesting how the /?source=dn.ca screws with sooo many sites.

Never even heard of Hunterboots.ca - but there are obviously plenty of Hunter named businesses out there so I didn't even bother to put any research into it. But to be honest, I find I make more sales to new / up-and-coming businesses wanting to make their mark and stand out from the rest rather than the existing ones.

eh, maybe. Hunting is already huge anywhere in Canada outside of the cities - and in any case Hunting.ca would seem better and more direct for hunting related use of guns. Hunter might be a better brandable - based on the fact that its a first & last name, so it might or might not even be put to use in relation to hunting.

There are always more to be had out there... count it as a blessing, now you can continue to be the "hunter" with the cash left in your pocket.
