Showcase Atom Storefronts (2.Viewing)

These storefronts are absolutely useless, as we're not selling mass market items like hamburgers or video games, and this is a business where very specific buyers are looking for very specific domain names that perfectly fit their brand or business.

Domain investors trying to act like they're Amazon or Best Buy is laughable at best.

The only storefront you should ever have is one you own with 0% commission.

Thanks for the heads-up MapleDots @MapleDots. I've been a little less active several places this last month, including here.

Yes, I have a WLM on Atom, now at the site: The creative place to name or rename! - rename.ca. I am not sure that it drives much domain interest, but it was literally seconds to set up (fill out a few things on form, choose a theme, set up an A record pointer), and then automatically updates with names as I add or delete them from Atom.

For a few reasons I list at Atom most names, the majority with their Plus (15% commission) that gives some search exposure, does not require exclusivity, listing of single words in their Sapphire Marketplace, and them handling negotiations and being their to handle inquiries 24x7. I do have some premium listings (30% or 25% commission), some Standard 7.5% commission, and have also used their Atom Pay to close some sales (they handle transfer of the name and payment handling for 5%).

Even if it does not bring exposure, having a WLM site that looks professional I think helps in any interactions I have directly (which happens seldomly, since I do no outbound but now and then). For example I use Rename.one in my X signature.

Another feature of having a WLM is that I can share a link that looks only at a certain subset of names. For example, this link shows only my .one extension domain names. https://rename.one/search/tld/.one

Some of you may recall that I originally had my WLM on a .ca of the same name. My original idea was to use my Atom WLM for my .ca names, but as I got more into brandable they were getting lost. I still have that name, and have plans, but no actual work on, making it into a Canadian only site, all prices in Canadian dollars, with a boutique feel like a small town shop. I am still trying to decide what that will look and feel like.

Thanks again for tagging me, and I hope everyone has a good fall. Go Jays!

-Bob

PS I meant to add, in case not obvious, that your "White Label Marketplace" (a misnomer since Atom branding still present) can include all 3 types of Atom listings: Premium, Plus and Standard.
