The NDP will make sure that never happens
The NDP might, if they think they could get more seats out of it. I don't know if enough Liberal voters have changed their minds about the Liberals since last election, but maybe enough feel hoodwinked by the whole Elbows Up thing, and lack of improvements to basically everything including the economy. If the Liberals lose seats they have to go somewhere.
Someone I've known for years recently told me that they were a lifelong NDP voter, but were caught up in the recent government union strike here in BC. Now she says she will never vote NDP again, based on the way the NDP handled it. She might mean just provincially.
Only 6 months of a minority Liberal government and you already see the talk in the press about lack of progress by the Liberals on US trade, budget blowout, immigration, housing, high cost of living, and here now Elections Canada already considering the possibility of another election. When will people learn? Not to mention how long Parliament was closed by the Liberals at a time when debate and discussion was needed on a lot of important issues. It seems like the biggest priority of the Liberal party is for the Liberal party to stay in power, regardless of any harm it does to the country. Minimizing time in parliament and constant blocking of access to documents and information that puts them in a poor light seems to be their way. Sure every political party wants to stay in power, but the Liberals will take every shortcut, every cheap trick, and any underhanded greasy move to do so.

This is the only thing the Liberals worry about and it's the entire basis for all their insane policies that have created this horrible mess.
The Liberals will do anything to remain in power. Anything.
